11th March 2022 Update: This event has unfortunately had to be cancelled.
GREAT NEWS!! As you know, the Littleway Healing Ministry Mission in our parish had to be cancelled last year due, of course, to the Covid 19 pandemic. But we are pleased to announce that the new booking has been confirmed for the weekend of the 31st March Thursday through to Sunday 3rd April.
As mentioned last year we will be asking parishioners to accommodate the Littleway Team in their houses during this weekend.
Although it is a while to go, if you could put up one or even two of the team, please contact Kathleen at the parish office:
Fr Laurence Brassill and Pauline Edwards and their team will be staying within the parish for the four days and firstly we are looking for Parishioners who would be willing to give members of the team bed and breakfast for their time here. If you have a spare room and would be willing to accommodate any of these wonderful volunteers please contact Kathleen in the Parish office.
On sale in the repository are copies of Pauline’s book which many will find a valuable source of interest. There will also a number of posters at the back of the church that perhaps you would take away to advertise the event in relevant places.
We are hoping that you will be able to join us for the event and whilst you are here you may like to volunteer to help serve the refreshments at sometime during it. Agenda to follow
The Little Way of Healing is a Holy Spirit-led approach to the healing of memories. It is a charism gifted by the Holy Spirit to the Church of our time. This gift is a four-stepped prayer that through the healing of memories contributes to the healing of the whole person. Through this particular way of praying , Jesus shows himself continuing his work of healing amongst us today in the midst of his Church. People are healed so they can testify to the Lord’s working in them and thereby draw others to their Lord and Saviour, the Divine Physician.
In this way it is an instrument in the New Evangelisation for today’s world.
Little Way Healing Ministries has grown rapidly out of the shared healing ministry of Fr. Laurence Brassill O.S.A. and Pauline Edwards. They feel called to help parishes set up their own healing ministry which is a powerful and permanent witness to the Lordship of Jesus. People are amazed when they see Almighty God working through their own ordinary parishioners.
Little Way Healing Ministries is what we do: led by the Holy Spirit, praying for the healing of memories and consequent evangelisation through testimonies of the healing, the risen Lord is working in our midst.
New Spring is the developing (non-residential) community arising from those involved in this ministry, with at its core the founders and those we call Companions who have committed themselves for a specified number of years or else for life.
New Spring Trust is the charitable trust and limited company set up as the instrument for the acquisition of the international healing centre that is needed for the further development of our ministry and the initial and continuing formation of those involved in the ministry.
