Baptism Preparation February to April 2019
for St Swithun’s & Our Lady of Lourdes Parish
In asking to have a child baptised, the parents are accepting the responsibility of training the child in the practice of the Christian faith. It is the duty of every Catholic parent to bring their child up to keep God’s commandments as Christ taught us, by loving God and our neighbour. A non-Catholic parent is asked to support the Catholic parent in this duty. Please, notice that it is expected from the Parents & God -Parents to practice their faith, which also means to attend Sunday Mass regularly. This Pastoral Year 2019 our Baptismal Preparation Course includes 2 meetings:. Please, take the application form from the sacristy, or from the office, or upload from our website. Please, do your best to practice your faith before You will apply – attend the Holy Mass on the Lord’s Day – which is Sunday. Thank you for your understanding.
