Make a difference. Become a teacher.
It might be easier than you think. You could change a young person’s life.
If the idea of teaching does or ever has appealed to you, now might well be the right time to find out more about training to be a primary school teacher. Our school can help support you with pre-course experience. You can train through the Primary Catholic Partnership (PCP), the organisation that is in partnership with the Catholic schools in our Diocese and offers school-centred training. Teaching placements can be secured locally and you can qualify as a teacher with a Post Graduate Certificate In Education (PGCE).
An information and recruitment session is being held at St. Swithun’s Catholic Primary School in Southsea on Thursday 26th April starting with tea and coffee at 2:00pm. and finishing by the end of the school day. Have a look around the school, hear about ways into teaching, meet a former trainee now established in a teaching career and take the opportunity to address any questions you may have to the teacher trainers.
Please let St. Swithun’s or PCP know if you would like to attend.
We look forward to seeing you.
You are welcome to contact PCP directly with any questions or if you are unable to attend, but would like to know more.
