Welcome to this week’s newsletter! Gaudete Sunday, serves as a mid-point break inviting us to rejoice in the nearness of Jesus’s return. Today the priest’s vestments like the third candle on our Advent wreath are rose in colour to encourage us to continue our spiritual preparations for Christmas. Why not get spiritually fit by saying our Parish Daily Devotions each day in December. You can find links to these below or just check the daily calendar. The month of December is dedicated to the Immaculate Conception. There’s some interesting examples in our Hymn for the Day section as well as a beautiful video under our Kid’s Gospel section. Please take a look. Also, please take a look at the note about the Bishop’s 2 day visit to our Parish in December. It’s a chance to meet and ask questions with our pastoral bishop. See our regular thoughts on Today’s Gospel and Readings for the week, and how you can help our Parish and all the latest upcoming events for the week.

“CAN-DO CHRISTIANS” A MESSAGE FROM FATHER MARCIN
Dearest Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Dear Friends: I would like to share with You some things which are about our Parish and for our Parish. Our Bishop Philip in the last Pastoral Letter to us, last weekend asked us to be ‘CAN-DO’ Christians. I’m absolutely sure, that You have noticed how many things already happen in our Parish to help in our spiritual grow to love God more and more in His Word to us, in His Sacraments for us (which is His real presence among us). We also go out to meet those who still searching for God, or who were not so lucky to have personal contact with Jesus Christ.
COME AND ASK ANY QUESTION ABOUT OUR FAITH
Dear Friends, if You will be not able to attend weekday’s Masses, You can always find these homilies, and many, many other interesting things on the website: www.stswithuns.org.uk
Also, as a complement to it, I would like to put a special table in the church hall, which will be ready for anyone who would like to ask, even the most difficult questions – about our Catholic faith. Because, I still meet so many sad situations, when some opinions created by media or people of not good will, to discredit Catholic faith, completely destroy people’s belief and stop them practicising their faith.
So, whoever, after Mass at 10.15am will sit, I will be very happy to join them and try my best to explain difficult subjects, misleads and misunderstandings shared in this world about our faith.
YOU ARE VERY WELCOME!
NEW SECTION ON OUR WEBSITE IF YOU JUST WANT TO SPEND SOME SPECIAL TIME WITH GOD
A big THANK YOU to our sponsors who contribute to our Parish costs
