Mothers and Grannies

Mothers' Prayers began with a tiny group of women praying for their children in a front room. In 20 years it has become and worldwide movement spreading to over 100 countries. A group is starting in St Swithun's church. The group will meet weekly in term time for about an hour, led by Mrs Olive. Small prayer booklets are used. Every child is prayed for and their names are placed in a small basket at the foot of the cross.…
