Saint Adalbert of Prague’s Story (956 – April 23, 997) Opposition to the Good News of Jesus did not discourage Adalbert, who is now remembered with great honor in the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, and Germany. Born to a noble family in Bohemia, he received part of his education from Saint Adalbert of Magdeburg. At the age of 27, he was chosen as bishop of Prague. Those who resisted his program of clerical reform forced him into exile eight years later.…

First Holy Communion

You can View the Whole Programme for our First Holy Communion Here the programme covers a period from 14th September 2017 to 17th June 2018. We have some sessions from 6:30am to 8:00pm on some Thursday evenings. Ascent Group – Next Meeting 23rd April 2018

The next Ascent Group Meeting is on St George’s Day April the 23rd from 2-15 pm in the Church Hall. The guest Speaker on this occasion will be Dr John Steadman from Portsmouth History Centre who will speak on ‘Famous People connected with Portsmouth’. At the last Ascent meeting in March a sum of £190 was donated to the The Society for the Protection of Unborn Children’ (SPUC)  after their 2018 Campaign Tour talk.
