Baptism Preparation September to December 2017
for St Swithun’s & Our Lady of Lourdes Parish
In asking to have a child baptised, the parents are accepting the responsibility of training the child in the practice of the Christian faith. It is the duty of every Catholic parent to bring their child up to keep God’s commandments as Christ taught us, by loving God and our neighbour. A non-Catholic parent is asked to support the Catholic parent in this duty.
This Pastoral Year 2017-2018 our Baptismal Preparation Course will include 3 meetings at 7:00pm on Thursdays at St Swithun’s and there will be 2 Baptism Ceremonies in October and December respectively.
It is important that you return the online form below to our team here at the parish so we can ensure your child is on our Baptism programme.
