Dear Friends, dear Brother & Sisters in Christ –
Thank You for all your kindness shown through your lovely Christmas Cards, gifs and donations, which I have started to receive through the last few days. I know that this time is a period when You show your support and gratitude to your priest. I know, that in England it is a custom to show your thanksgiving to your priests for whole year’s ministry, and Christmas Offering is dedicated to the priest.
Dearest Parishioners – please, always first look after your Family’s members. Your prayers and kind support during the daily ministry in the Parish is something which I do appreciate so much. Any of your kind Christmas donations I would like to dedicate to my ministry with the young people in the Parish, and also support our annual summer trip to Poland with the altar servers.
Please, accept my Christmas card in which I would like to wish You – a very Blessed Christmas & Happy New Year 2018 – and please, share my sincere wishes to all the members of your Families. THANK YOU for all!
Also, please, accept this unleavened bread, which is in my national tradition a very strong sign of sharing all that is good with life. In such a special way in my country we tell each other, ‘I love you, I care about you, I’m sorry for any bad words, deeds and I thank You that You are.’ This Christmas I would like to say these words to You from the depth of my heart – and I promise to pray for You always, asking You to pray for me, that I will be a man and a priest according to the sacred heart of Jesus.
Thank You for everything. Father Marcin
