Baptism Preparation March to April 2018
for St Swithun’s & Our Lady of Lourdes Parish
In asking to have a child baptised, the parents are accepting the responsibility of training the child in the practice of the Christian faith. It is the duty of every Catholic parent to bring their child up to keep God’s commandments as Christ taught us, by loving God and our neighbour. A non-Catholic parent is asked to support the Catholic parent in this duty.
This Pastoral Year 2017-2018 our Baptismal Preparation Course includes 3 meetings: The Next preparation COURSE will be held in Lent 2018 – on Thursdays 8th, 15th March and 5th April – and the Sacrament of Baptism will be celebrated on Divine Mercy Sunday, on 8th April 2018, during the Holy Mass at 10.15am. Please, take the application form from the sacristy, or from the office, or upload from our website. Please, do your best to practice your faith before You will apply – attend the Holy Mass on the Lord’s Day – which is Sunday. Thank you for your understanding.
It is important that you return the online form below to our team here at the parish so we can ensure your child is on our Baptism programme.
